Where are you located?

I’m located in Rathdrum, Idaho but I consider Coeur d’Alene, Idaho & Spokane, Washington local & I shoot at these locations often.

Do you travel?

YES, absolutely! I’m ready to go anywhere you’ll have me (& at discounted rates if you are in one of my dream session locations).

Pricing?

Wedding packages range from $1,450-$3,700 & packages are completely customizable. Family sessions, Portrait sessions start at $300.


Can I have the RAW files?

No can do! When you hire me as your wedding photographer or photographer in general, you are hiring me to deliver you a cohesive gallery that matches my style of editing. To deliver you RAW files would be like delivering a unfinished product. The photos I deliver reflect my editing style & my brand.

How would you describe your editing style?

My editing style is true to color with an artistic touch. Style all depends on the lighting situation you have. If it is an overcast day, your photos are probably going to be a little moodier than normal. If its bright & sunny your photos are going to be bright & lighter! But from my feed & portfolio, you will see a consistent pattern in the colors & texture of my photos. Ultimately you are going to receive true to color, timeless photos.

Do you have a certain person you use for second shooters?

I have my go to & trustworthy local photographers that second shoot with me regularly. The photographer I choose to second shoot with me on your wedding day will be professional & have just as much experience as I do. It is important to me to have someone with me that reflects my brand and my business just as I would & the photographers that shoot with me are absolutely amazing! I choose whom I will second shoot with based on their scheduling & the location of the wedding.


How do I book my wedding with you?

You first off, you will fill out my contact form. You can find that in the “get in touch” section of my website, once you fill out that information, that form goes straight to my email. From there I will send you over my brochure with my wedding packages that you can select from. All packages are customizable. Once you make your selection I will send you over your proposal for you to look over. When the retainer fee is paid, your wedding date will be set in stone with Ashley Huft Photography.

How do you feel about candid photos? Do you prefer to pose?

I do a healthy mix of both! When your day is unfolding I like to capture it just how it is, but when it comes to portraits I like to help guide you into a pose & then get some candids from there. When it comes to family photos I’m very hands on & normally will walk up to everyone and make sure they’re all facing the same way, hands in pockets for guys etc.. So definitely a good mix of both!

What gear do you shoot with?

I have three professional grade cameras. My main body is a Canon 5D Mark IV & my other two cameras are Canon 6D’s, which I absolutely love as well. I mostly shoot with my 35mm & 50mm lenses but I have a variety of lenses I can choose from throughout your wedding day. I have two flashes for reception if needed!

Do you offer payment plans?

YES! Your date is held with a paid retainer fee but you are more than welcome to make payments towards your balance however often you’d like. The complete remaining balance for your wedding is due one month prior to your wedding day.

How long have you been shooting weddings?

Three years professionally! I picked up my professional grade camera three years ago & haven’t looked back since!


Sessions


How do you deliver photos?

You will receive your photos through an online gallery, where you can print, share and download your photos! The gallery is delivered via email & for weddings is normally categorized by events (getting ready, ceremony etc..). Your collection will expire 3 months from the date I deliver it to you.

Do you offer mini sessions?

Yes! a handful of times throughout the year I will hold mini sessions. I normally like to hold them seasonally. They are usually held back to back & are about 20 minutes long. If you are interested in updates on mini sessions send me your email to be on my email list!

Can I have the print release with my images?

Absolutely! I have a professional print shop I work closely with that you can order prints, canvases, & beautiful albums, that you are more than welcome to order from (I normally recommend ordering from a professional print lab like the one I work with because of the quality). If you would rather print somewhere else I totally understand & you are more than welcome to have a print release!


How do I book a session with you?

We will first talk about what you are interested in having done, I will send you a brochure with more info, we will talk about the location & date of the session, styling etc.. Once you pay the retainer fee your session date & time will be set in stone!

How far out should I book my session?

I normally try not to book out more than 5 months in advance, there are a lot of variables that could happen in that amount of time & there are some dates that I save specifically for weddings. Normally about 1-3 months is ideal for booking your session!
